FLYLAB is a crew of enthusiasts who live and breathe flying and want to share it with others.
We don't just teach you to pilot wings — we share our philosophy of mountain flight.
With us, you'll learn not only how to fly, but most importantly — why to fly.
Flying a small fast wing close to the terrain. Proximity.

More about the course →FLYLAB instructors are experienced speedflying pilots with deep coaching backgrounds in adjacent disciplines: paragliding, skydiving, indoor skydiving.
Wind tunnel coach, IBA T3 coach and RipCord by iFLY coach. FAI freestyle judge. Paragliding instructor. Owner of the most intellectual flying style on the team. Citizen of the world, nerd, and mathematician. Can explain why your swoop sucks using a Google spreadsheet. Loves everything green, denies the existence of tailwind. The smart one.
Speedflying experience: 10+ years. Used to compete in vertical formation skydiving — but still confuses left and right. Very fun outside the school, but inside it he's a nerd and the safety police. Studies flight down to the tiniest insignificant details — we think he might be autistic. Right now he's probably either climbing up some mountain or already flying off it. The pretty one.
Paragliding instructor, SIV instructor, APPI ProTandem, APPI Instructor. Acro and cross-country pilot, skydiver. BASE jumper. Can predict atmospheric pressure and the arrival of a high-pressure system by the smell of the wind. Sleeps no more than 7 hours per week. Owns a dedicated pair of shoes for speedflying. Sasha in a bad mood is like a Yeti: rumor has it someone saw one, but it's probably fake. The kind one.
Speedflying since 2016. Skydiving since 2009 — 8,000+ jumps and several Guinness World Records (just saying!). Huge coaching experience across multiple skydiving disciplines. If he didn't teach you to fly a canopy, he definitely taught you to pack it. If he didn't teach you to fly a wingsuit, he definitely sold you one. Loves studying, comparing, and switching gear. Nobody knows where or how he grew up — the stories he tells about himself don't add up. The strict one.
Speedflying sits at the intersection of paragliding and skydiving. The FLYLAB team is a group of speedflying pilots with massive flying, competing, and coaching experience across all of these disciplines.
Our instructors are professional skydivers and paraglider pilots. It's a rare combination — and it matters directly for speedflying.
We know the specifics of pilots coming to speedflying from skydiving or paragliding. Having flown every type of wing out there, we can build the ideal progression plan for you — based on your background and goals.
Over years of flying around the world and conversations with the top pilots, instructors, and gear makers, we've collected the experience of schools across every continent, refined it, and built our own program — the most effective and safe approaches to training.
The FLYLAB team has written the most detailed speedflying manual that currently exists. Our methodology isn't only in our heads — it's systematized and on paper.
We're involved in developing speedwings for several manufacturers. We know the gear from the inside — and we use that knowledge in training.
We don't just graduate students — we build a community of like-minded people. When you finish our course, you don't end up adrift — you're among fellow adventurers. You'll never be alone: wherever you end up, we'll keep an eye out, back you up, and show you the way.
Tell us about your experience — we'll match you with the right course and dates. Spots are limited, book early.
